I would have posted these yesterday, as I'll be doing these on a Sunday, but I wanted to wait until the Golden Globes were over - they were, officially, on a Sunday, even if it was Monday where I reside, but it was rather too late once they were done for me to be bothered making these predictions right then. Futile, though, to bother at all. I'm out on a limb on Picture, Director, Actress, Supporting Actor, Original Screenplay, Adapted Screenplay and most of the technical and 'minor' categories.

Wow, some very bold predictions here! Well, if ARGO wins it will be quite a vindication for Affleck. Here is what I am thinking:
ReplyDeleteBest Picture: Lincoln (alt. Life of Pi)
Best Director: Steven Spielberg (alt. Lee)
Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis
Best Actress: Emmanuele Riva
Best Supporting Actor: Tommy Lee Jones
Best Supporting Actress: Anne Hathaway
Original Screenplay: Michael Haneke
Adapted Screenplay: Tony Kushner
Cinematography: Claudio Miranda
Music: Mychael Danna
Song: Skyfall
Film Editing: William Goldenberg (Zero Dark)
Animated: Frankenweenie
Foreign Film: Amour
I must ponder the rest over the coming days.
Nothing for Argo! That could happen. Nothing is beyond the boundaries of possibility this year.
