Not so long ago, I caught wind that some A-list actors were being considered for the role of Hillary Clinton in James Ponsoldt's biopic, Rodham (every time I type the name of that film, I shudder). Shortly thereafter, I caught wind that another actor entirely was also being considered, but by this stage I couldn't be bothered posting anything. Apparently Carey Mulligan was the first choice to play HRC, and she'd certainly have been one of my favourites for the role. But now, it is being reported that she has turned down the role, and that the search has resumed.
