Much as the first Kick-Ass made me laugh, there was something a little off about it. Something in the comic timing. Something in the tone. Dunno what it was. Most of this Comic-Con-debuted extended trailer looks to be more in line with what didn't take my fancy in Kick-Ass than what did. Chloe Moretz kinda saves it, but only kinda. And those special effects do not. The 14th of August in the UK, the 16th in the US.
