They're selling the Woody Allen thing hard here, since he's probably a good hook for this film's target. Nevertheless, the tone this trailer strikes is so Woody-lite that it can't help but come across as a preview for one of his 'lesser' works. The point being: it's not very funny. This hits up TIFF soon, as we found out today. My favourite thing about this trailer is definitely the cinematography. I'm not even joking. That's the kind of thing I often think.
