THREE SEQUELS FOR AVATAR, NOT TWO

Is there enough story for three more sequels? Wait, there wasn't even enough story for one. So, seeing sense, James Cameron has hired a slew of scripters to assist with the screenplays: Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and Shane Salerno (Savages). All three films will be shot back-to-back, beginning next year. So, we'll have to wait until December 2016 for Avatar 2! So long! I thought it was on its way a lot sooner than that, although I guess if they haven't even started production yet, anything sooner mightn't be realistic, not considering the time Cameron likes to take. 3 and 4 will be on their way, as things stand, in Dec '17 and '18, respectively
