I'm not sure 'fabulous' is the right word for Nicolas Winding Refn's Valhalla Rising. But then I don't care - it fits the feature due to Morten Soborg's stunning cinematography and Winding Refn's impeccable eye for iconic imagery. I hope the appreciation for this underrated film only grows as he reaches wider audiences.
