No wonder Marc Forster bailed on the World War Z sequel, despite its impressive international box office haul. You quite possibly already know about the difficulties in filming and then re-filming the zombie thriller, though perhaps the news didn't reach Spain, as The Orphanage director Juan Antonio Bayona has signed on to direct the sequel. He also made last year's The Impossible, which is the task he faces in scraping together a sequel out of what remains of the would-be franchise. I'm optimistic about this, actually.
