The Cinema Audio Society today announced its nominations. 12 Years a Slave, All Is Lost and Rush, among a great deal of other films, ofc, missed out on nominations, with more populist fare like Iron Man 3 and Lone Survivor nabbing places in their Live Action top five. Though there was another nomination, at last, for Inside Llewyn Davis among this guild. Animation nominees were so narrow-minded as to ignore anything even vaguely foreign; even Walking with Dinosaurs received a mention (though maybe the sound mixing in that film was great, I wouldn't know like). Awards will be handed out on the 22nd of February.
