Well, duh. Wong Kar Wai's biopic not of one person nor even of two but of the genesis of modern martial arts is a cinematic conveyor belt of a panoply of stunning styles of hand-to-hand combat, elegantly and breathtakingly choreographed by the wuxia genre's current-day grandmaster, Yuen Wo Ping. It's the definitive film on the famous Yip Man, and Yuen's fight choreography is among the finest he has put his name to in a long and outstanding career to date. An easy winner for this title.
