You might remember that Alec Baldwin declared Trine Dyrholm 'the best actress in the world' after he saw her performance in Erik Poppe's Troubled Water. A Thousand Times Goodnight is Poppe's latest, and though it looks to be one of those irritating international co-productions, it does contain one particularly promising feature: Juliette Binoche. Between this and last year's Camille Claudel 1915, which I have yet to see, she looks to be doing some of the best work of her brilliant career.
