DICAPRIO AND INARRITU'S THE REVENANT MOVING FORWARD

Shlock horror writer Mark L. Smith and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's adaptation of Michael Punke's novel now looks set to go, with Inarritu directing and Leonardo DiCaprio starring. Both have been trying to sort out filming dates for some time, and the aim now seems to be to start shooting on the period drama later this year. DiCaprio had a good year last year, as 2012 holdover Django Unchained and summer's The Great Gatsby both making a lot of money, and The Wolf of Wall Street doing the same whilst also earning him an Oscar nomination. Inarritu may be about to have a good year himself in 2014, should Birdman, his first comedy, do well when released in October.
