Two and a half years from now, Warner Bros. has plans set to continue milking the shit out of its favourite cash cow, the Harry Potter franchise. A trilogy is planned (wouldn't you know), with J.K. Rowling making her screenwriting debut for the films. Like WB's The Hobbit series, this will be three films from one book, only this one's a mere 42-page textbook; reports are that the Fantastic Beasts films will be 'an extension of the wizarding world', rather than a direct prequel or sequel to the Harry Potter films. They'll be set in New York, 70 years prior.
