I've always got Hong Sang Soo's films, I've just never cared for them. I'm not missing anything in them, I just don't like them. Critics at Venice, however, quite like his latest, Hill of Freedom, if not as much as some of his other recent festival hits. Here are reviews from Guy Lodge at Variety, Adam Woodward at Little White Lies and Clarence Tsui at The Hollywood Reporter.
