Besides the two films he directed for the popular Bourne spy series, Paul Greengrass has focused solely on dramatised versions of real-life events in his films. He will return to such territory for his next project, a film about a group of West Germans in the 1960s and their attempts to smuggle friends and family out of East Germany with the aid of the American media. Argo, anyone? Whatever small quibbles one may have with Greengrass' lesser efforts as a director, he's yet to make a genuinely bad film, so expectations are duly high for this FilmNation feature.
