Unlike the Academy, the Golden Globes' HFPA permits more than one film hailing from a particular country to compete for its Foreign Language Film award. And so, a number of countries appear a number of times on their recently-announced list of eligible titles for that award. Nominations will confirm the group's top five from these 53 when they are announced next Thursday, the 11th of December.
