Do we need to ruminate over the 2014 DGA nominees? The inclusion of Clint Eastwood for American Sniper and Morten Tyldum for The Imitation Game obviously speaks less to the quality of those films than it does the state of the awards race, and we already know this. The DGA has cocked up significantly in the past, and what does it matter if they do the same this year? You wanna wait for Oscar nominations on Thursday? Cos the Academy didn't wait for the DGA - their ballots are already being counted. The award will be presented to one of these five dudes on the 7th of February. Nominees below.
