The effects look bad, the acting looks bad, but doesn't everything else look pretty damn good? Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny has a lot to live up to, though with Yuen Woo Ping as director, it appears that it won't even bother, and will instead take on a different approach to its story. That may be a wise move, helping to differentiate this film from its predecessor in meaningful ways, thus making comparisons between the two relatively pointless. Netflix will release online in the US on the 26th of February.
