I love this trailer for A Yellow Bird. The luscious cinematography and sensitive blocking, the intriguing thematic and narrative concerns, the strong dialogue and performances - all of it appeals to me. K. Rajagopal's film is entered in the Critics' Week section of Cannes 2016, where it is set to premiere tomorrow, the 18th of May, as the final film in that strand of the festival. Here's hoping the reviews are great and that the film enjoys a healthy international run later this year.
