  1. Maybe Hooper ahead of Tarantino?

Can AMOUR sneak in the Best Picture lineup?

    Great call on Watts!

Terrific choice with MEA CULPA! Maybe CENTRAL PARK can get in?

    Yep, Waltz is late-breaking.

    Hope SILVER LININGS under performs.

    1. I couldn't decide between Hooper and Russell for Best Director - couldn't leave one off and put the other on, so I left them both off and put Tarantino on. I have no idea, though. I think it'll still be that way on the morning of the 10th of January lol.

Yeah, I think Amour can sneak in. It's not likely, but the race is still pretty wide open.

My Naomi is defs getting in. She's a lock now, I think. She could win.

The Central Park Five isn't eligible, alas. Mea Maxima Culpa seems like their sort of SERIOUS doc. And I wanted a bit of variety in that category, in subject matter and style of films, as there usually is some variety there.

SLP is losing heat. The Academy could fan the flames back up, but I agree, I hope it falls on its arse.
