Controversy be damned, Zero Dark Thirty is the best reviewed American film of the year, according to critics, and the Utah lot are in agreement, it would seem. Curious, though, that they award Wes Anderson for Director rather than Bigelow. Some healthy love for Looper, which hasn't been neglected this season, as some feared, and a more sensible selection than many similar, more obscure critics' groups often make. I'm still not getting on board with The Cabin in the Woods, now. No-one gives a shit what I think, but I think that's a shit film.
ZERO DARK THIRTY is a masterpiece, and possibly my own #1. Certainly in the top 2 or three.
ReplyDeleteWel jel. I'd torture someone to see it.
