No surprise here, as the favourites in each category all walk off with the award. Anna Karenina's exceptional production design beats fellow Oscar nominees Lincoln and Les Mis, probably its closest competitors for that award, and Life of Pi beats fellow Oscar competition The Hobbit, which would have been my choice. Alas, Peter Jackson's Middle Earth films simply aren't the draw they used to be. Nominations are here.
Art direction of Cloud Atlas' was fabulous too.
