PENELOPE CRUZ IS NEW BOND GIRL?

Producers have been seeking her for a while, and now it looks like Oscar-winning actor and wife of fellow Bond star Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, will play a Bond girl (or Bond woman) in the next Bond film, which apparently will be directed by Skyfall's Sam Mendes. Big name stars are rarely cast in these roles - the last of this kind of stature was probably Halle Berry, from 2002's Die Another Day, and Cruz will also be the oldest person to undertake the role of Bond girl, if she films her scenes next year as is rumoured. It'll be good to have her on board, as the absence of Judi Dench could have threatened to leave the Bond series without a strong female character. And you just know my Penelope wouldn't let that happen.

  1. Doubt, you'd be interesting in this article. But, Warner Brothers are even Dark Knight-ing the marketing promos of Man of Steel, now. With it's conspicuous congruent origin story of Batman, being intense, dark, conflicted, heavy-Nolan-Feel, Warner Brothers have now released a 13 minute featurette of Man of Steel which, if you remember, pays off exactly similar to the 13 minute featurette of Dark knight Rises released by them last year chronicling the same timeless story of respective superhero. Guess, they don't want another Superman Returns while voraciously pushing the not-so-subtle-idea of Dark Knight Returns, only this time as Man of Steel.

The selling point of the movie(picture below), two visionaries, one movie, with all the bunch of footage shown, and if you still aren't sold for the(as trailers suggest)most epic anticipated movie of the year, you'd be just fine.

But, self-contradictorily, am hoping it'd turn good and give us something to remember.

    1. Oh the Nolan connection has been pushed heavy and hard from the start. I don't think they'd have a chance with this film unless they marketed it as basically Batman in blue spandex.
