KANSAS CITY FILM CRITICS CIRCLE GO ALL OUT IN 12 YEARS A SLAVE'S FAVOUR

The Kansas City Film Critics Circle is one of the oldest critic groups, and doesn't get the respect it deserves among its peers. Though they don't deserve a lot of respect for choosing Despicable Me 2 as their (joint) favourite Animated Film of the year. Another tie in Best Director, where love for Alfonso Cuaron is so strong that he was able to tie with Steve McQueen, despite 12 Years a Slave's dominance in other categories.
