PARTY GIRL OPENS UN CERTAIN REGARD IN TRUE PARTY STYLE

The Cannes 2014 Un Certain Regard sidebar has opened with Party Girl, the debut film from film school friends Marie Amachoukeli, Claire Burger and Samuel Theis. Reviews for the trio's realistic drama have been largely positive, though not without reservations. Catch up on what Charles Gant at Variety, Jordan Mintzer at The Hollywood Reporter and Peter Bradshaw at The Guardian have said about Party Girl.
