NO HARD LINE FROM CANNES CRITICS ON A HARD DAY


Kim Seong Hung's A Hard Day is one of surprisingly few Korean titles at Cannes this year, but seems to be making up in quality what the festival lacks in quantity. Critics have been very positive about the thriller, noting both its nerve-shredding tension and the welcome addition of black humour to the genre mix.
