MOONLIGHT WINS TOP HONOURS FROM ALLIANCE OF WOMEN FILM JOURNALISTS

You'll surely understand - Christmas festivities impeded my ability to report upon the incessant developments of the early third of awards season. But I have at last emerged from a turkey-and-wine-induced stupor to announce news of the Alliance of Women Film Journalists 2016 awards. And it's yet more success for Moonlight - gee, what a surprise. Props to this lot for showing their fellow female-focused 'critics' in the WFCC how to do it with two awards for Isabelle Huppert in Elle, though their Hall of Shame pick is an utterly baffling one in the light of the context and the competition.
