LA LA LAND SHOOTS FOR SIX WITH ST LOUIS CRITICS


La La Land is on a ro ro roll with the critics groups, reinforcing why it's being tipped by so many as the Oscar Best Picture frontrunner. The film wins six awards from the St. Louis Film Critics Association including Best Picture and Best Director, though the voters' choices were a little less predictable in other categories. ST. LOUIS FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES 2016 AWARD NOMINEES


As if today couldn't get fuller for critics awards, along comes the St. Louis Film Critics Association and their lineup of 2016 nominations. You couldn't have left it 48 hours, folks? ST. LOUIS FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION AWARDS: SPOTLIGHT WINS BEST FILM


The St. Louis Film Critics Association has announced its award winners for the year! Tom McCarthy's Spotlight wins Best Film, Director and Original Screenplay on another potential stop on the way to Oscars in the same three categories. The Revenant makes a good showing too over a number of awards, but Pixar's Inside Out takes the runner-up slot for the top award. 2015 ST LOUIS FILM CRITICS ASSOCIATION AWARDS - NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED


In a period of enormous activity with critics' awards, there's not that much to remark upon with the St. Louis Film Critics Association's nominations. No Best Film mention for Carol? Used to it by now, folks. Lots of love for Alicia Vikander? Join the fucking queue. Award winners announced on Sunday the 19th of December.
